Where should I begin? This review is not meant to disparage any of the very hard-working Celebrity Summit staff as we found the staff to be nice, friendly and hard working.

Embarkation Port Bayonne: Easy, the lines move fairly quickly and efficiently. We saw some the Celebrity staff identify “older” clients in the line and move them to the lines for suites and “upper-tier level” guests to reduce the wait time which we thought was a nice thing to do.

*Note taking a car from Manhattan to the port is always a risky proposition as the traffic can be smooth sailing or quite congested. This time, leaving on a Sunday, the traffic was pretty smooth. For the adventuresome person I would suggest taking a train from Manhattan to Newark and then taking Uber or something like that to the pier, way cheaper and potentially removes the risk of traffic delays.
