This was our first cruise on a Viking ocean ship after having taken the Romantic Danube cruise three years ago. We lucked out on the weather with 14 days of warm sunshine and the seas were calm. We had a junior explorer suite with plenty of room very close to the Exlplorer's Lounge. Our favorite spots were the fjords in Norway and St. Petersburg. Dining by reservation was super fun and we made new friends. The nordic spa experience seemed intimidating at first but we quickly bought in and visited several times!

Our only disappointment was one of our shore excursions that was rescheduled to an earlier departure late the night before by the vendor and we missed the notice (and, thus, the excursion). Otherwise, things worked like clockwork and we are Viking Fans for life!

On board shopping was excellent and very personalized. The daily previews were very informative and helpful and the fact that we could watch a video replay at our convenience was great.
