We have been on the Magic 4 times and also have cruised on other Carnival ships multiple times and we believe the Magic (and all the Dream Class) are the best they offer. Certainly better than the only slightly large Vista class.
Embarkation at Port Canaveral is always a smooth process. We live here so that helps, but the employees are helpful and friendly and the process is always smooth.
The Ship itself is the perfect size, similar to all of Carnival ships, so if you have been others learning this one is not so difficult.

Cabin was as always clean and ready when we go on board, we love Ocean view and rarely get a balcony. We also prefer decks 1 and 2 mid to aft
