We went on this cruise which sailed on 28th May which was the first sailing in the year. An earlier cruise before ithe weather got too hot would have been much better - every day the temperature hovered around 27 - 29 degrees. The heat was scorching and combined with the dry shadeless places the ship docked, we found ourselves often staying back on the ship. It looks like the cruise business has not caught on to the reality of global warming - cruises need to be scheduled to sail earlier in the year before the heat gets too intense, and need to have later autumn sailings for people who are not keen to get roasted in the sun for 10 days!
Despite passengers having to do lots of pre cruise homework checking-in online and fixing their printed luggage tags which had to be downloaded online, embarkation was a nightmare with piles of people standing in line to ..... do the `real 'check-in?? Obviously there were just not enough counters despite getting passengers to check in at different time slots. However, disembarkation was a breeze.
There is no wifi unless passengers buy the ship's expensive wifi package. Hello ... this is 2018...not 1918 !!!!!!
Very clean, the steward Komo was pleasant and courteous.
