Sail Date: Jul 2018
Cabin: Mid-Ship Inside Stateroom

This was the first cruise I have been on. I had a wonderful time. The staff everywhere you went were very friendly and helpful. The entertainment was amazing. There were always activities to enjoy from the time you woke up to the time you went to bed. We spent most of our nights in the Atrium watching game shows that made you laugh. We went to almost all of the shows and they were so enjoyable.

The ship was huge, but once you got inside it didn't feel like that. They had signs and touchscreens everywhere if you got lost or couldn't remember where something was. The sail was very smooth. I was afraid I would get seasick, but I didn't once. The cabins had everything you would need. There was a tv in the room that had multiple channels. There were channels about the happenings that day, news, kids shows, and movies.

We ate at all the complementary dining places on the ship. We did not eat at the specialty places. The Garden Café had a large variety of food for every meal. We ate the Tropicana Room, Irish Pub, Taste, and Savor. All of these restaurants made you feel like you were at a high class restaurant. They pushed in your chair when they seated you and placed your napkin in your lap. When you were done eating your soup and bread, they came around with a crumb comb. The soups, entrees, and desserts were amazing. I never left there hungry.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Inside Stateroom

Cabin IE

The cabins were just what we asked for. We had two beds with a spacious bathroom. Everything we needed was there. I was worried with the shower pressure and temperature becasue of how big the ship was. The water pressure and temperature was perfect. Our room was always clean and the towel animals were adorable!

Port Reviews

Harvest Caye

It was Norwegian's private island, so I don't know how much you got the real Belize. With that being said, it was our favorite port. We were the firsts to get off the ship and last to get on the ship. The pool and beach were so relaxing! They had zip lining over the beach that looked fun. They had a Landshark restaurant at the pool that was yummy. They had Landshark bars scattered through the pool area.

Costa Maya

It was the worst place I have ever visited!!! This is the type of place people get abducted or die of alcohol poisoning. You take a sketchy tram to the beach. They drop you off in an actual dump. Four guys surrounded the tram and tried selling us different excursions. Then you had to walk very far to get to the beach. A family that was on the tram with us said that they were here before and that was not where they were supposed to drop us off at. The guys wouldn't hear it. There were people following you the entire time. You had to find your own way back from the beach. The beach was dirty. I felt like I would catch a disease getting in the water. It smelled so bad there! The drinks did not look safe to drink. We spent maybe 30 minutes there, which consisted of trying to find a way back to the ship. When we finally got back to the port, the pool there was cloudy. Vendors would try cornering you in their tents and not letting you out! We got back on the ship and showered. We talked to a couple that night that said the same thing and complained. They asked Norwegian to find a different port in Mexico to stop.

DO NOT GET OFF THE SHIP AT THIS PORT!!! IT IS NOT SAFE!!!
