We chose this crew because the ship was smaller and all the ratings for Viking were high. We certainly weren't disappointed. The food was amazing, drinks perfect and service out of this world! We departed from Venice but stayed 2 days in advance there. The embarkation was seamless and our cabin very nice. Loved the private balcony. We went on one Princess Cruise many years ago & decide we did not like cruising... Viking changed our minds and we have a 2 week cruise booked for January 2020 which we can't wait for. I would definitely sign up for the silver drink package if you enjoy cocktail hour! Creative and fun drinks! The shore excursions were great and we really got the feel for the country. Everyone on the ship & excursions were very kind, informative and helpful. We felt like part of the Viking family and go to know many of them well. We would certainly recommend Viking to anyone!
