We had not been to Scandanavia and were interested in seeing the fjords and other scenery. We liked the one-stop unpacking of a cruise so that was the logical choice fo;r our next vacation. We had great prior experiences with Viking, one a river cruise on the Danube and one an ocean on a sister ship to the Sun, from Venice to Istanbu. We were greeted by friendly reps at the airport followed by a quick trip to the port. The embarkation was as efficient as could be, particularly having pre-registered on line.

On board the cabin and public amenities were great as we expected from the prior ocean cruise.

We started out with sit down dining and then found that the World Cafe food was as good and also with more selections made that our usual stop. Read more
