Other siblings chose this cruise--we went along to hang with them.
Spent MANY hours researching cruise-ship-cabins-ports-menus-CC reviews. Embarkation/debarkation was a breeze- Got to PC at 1pm-when others had already boarded ship. Luggage showed up 2 hours later. Booked Jr. Suite on deck 10 near rear bulge. Good spot--no noise from anyone. Tip; 2nd outlet under bed frame near night stand.
Cabins have coolers--not fridges--temp was about 50 degr or a little less-no settings.
About 290 s.f.--roomy-nice size shower--not a tube like most cabins.
Walk-in closet--AC worked very well. Nice balcony. Sofa & stuffed chair.
Clean. Very comfortable bed.
Columbus Cove was nice & quiet--but not very breezy--on wrong side.
If you want breeze--go to main area on windward side where the food & activities are.
Good drinks. Did not shop here
Arrived at Oasis Terminal-- 1 pm--good time to arrive. Waiting room was empty. We were quickly thru security & photo/cabin card issuance. On ship in 30 minutes.
Stayed in secure area and shopped--no hassles from anyone.
Has some cold Red Strip while wife shopped--I people watched.
Back on ship for lunch.
Rented a cab and had driver take us where we wanted to go.
Went to Punta Sur Park-- $14 ea. to get in. VERY BAD ROAD once inside park.
Slow going to dodge deep potholes in road. Lost a lot of time driving slowly in & out of park. Should have gone to closer park or one of the beach resorts. Will know better next time. Saw a gator with no tail, light house (not much to see). Saw some big honking lizards. Had some cold beer-back to taxi and to San Miguel--shopped a bit then back to ship.
