I was a bit nervous about getting on this cruise after reading the scathing reviews on here. This was our 3rd cruise with NCL and frankly we went in hoping for the best but prepared for the worst.

If you go in expecting this to be a typical cruise, you're going to have a bad time. Because it's an American Flagship and an older ship, you will not get the bells and whistles you may have come to expect when thinking about a "Cruise". No casino, no unlimited drinks, less than exciting spa.

We didn't choose this cruise to take a "Cruise" if that makes sense. Rather, we chose it to be a floating hotel so we can island hop without having to pack up, get on a plane and unpack. Think of the POA as a nice Hilton or Hyatt resort and you won't be disappointed.

Room was fine. Small as expected but we mostly only slept there.
