Staying in the Penthouse Jr Suite, the cabins were aesthetic, modern, and thoughtfully and wonderfully designed. And very comfortable. Though there are luxury cruises that cater more to the excesses of the ultra rich, Viking in my wife's and my opinion, has found the balance between great comfort and over the top opulence.

Toured on a 3 day extension with Paolo Lenzi of Roman Paths. Wonderful insights and we really got to see an amazing amount of sites in this great city.

What a great day. If you like gardens, the diversity of the flora and fauna of this area are spectacular. And so are the views. The guide was a botanist and gardener ... so we learned a lot and enjoyed a long walk through Monte Carlo.

Beautiful and charming village ... enjoyable but non-spectacular winery. The rain held this day off from being amazing in spite of our umbrellas and rain gear. I want to go back on one of the 300 sunny days!

Part of what I love about Viking are their included City tours ... done well with guides that respect learning. Provide a great overview of the area ... and then set you free to do your own explore if you so choose. We did so in Barcelona after the tour and had a fabulous day. And what a great city!

A simple walking tour of the primary sights in Pisa. Didn't expect much and as it was raining cats, glad we didn't try to do more on this day.

Extraordinary day. Very private as 6 of us were on this excursion were we went into the Tuscan Hills to a historic estate (Castello del Trebbio) and prepared (and enjoyed) making pasta with a Chef and tasting their wonderful wines. A bit pricey but worth every penny.

The Viking Sky amenities was so amazing we hardly noticed the weather between the pool, lounges, onboard wifi, libraries, fitness centers and spas.Though there are luxury cruises that cater more to the excesses of the ultra rich, Viking in my wife's and my opinion, has found the balance between great comfort and over the top opulence.
