Overall I really enjoyed the ship and staff. The food was awesome, the staff friendly, ship was nice and clean, any my room was very comfortable. I chose this ship because I personally needed a change from the previous 4 cruises on the same Carnival ship (I went on those to accompany my elderly parents). When your parents reach that age (80's) they get a little set in their ways. That describes my parents. My mom isn't very mobile, so most sea days she likes to sit in comfortable chairs within eyesight of the casino, and my dad bounces back from the seat to a slot machine. On Carnival ships this works very well. But on LOS the closest place to sit was at the Schooner Bar, which is down the hall from the end of the casino. So that didn't work out very well for them. I have to admit that for me as well, I like how the Carnival casinos are laid out with a large hall with lounge seating along one side. My wife doesn't gamble much, but she likes to sit and listen to music while it play craps. As you can tell, the casino experience is important to me as that is how I like to spend evenings.
BUT, my biggest complaint about Royal Caribbean is their VERY WEAK online experience. Their website has a serious lack of detailed information (room pictures and floorplan for instance) compared to their competitors. I was also not able to complete my booking online and was forced to call and book by phone. Then during the online check-in process the pages were "locked" several times while trying to complete. Overall their website gets an F.
The room was roomy, and the walk-in closet was very nice. Small bathroom, but livable with the bathtub instead of corner shower. Great balcony
Paradise Beach is Awesome!
Snorkled at Eden Rock. Meh
Margaritaville at the port is a great place to relax and stay close to the ship
