We chose this cruise as we liked the itinerary. Unfortunately, we didn't get to board the ship in Venice as our flight from Belfast was over 8 hours late! We flew, instead to Dubrovnik which would have been our first port of call, and boarded the ship the following day. We were on a classic drinks package, but could not believe we were charged over $12 for 2 medium bottles of water in our cabin (apparently not included in package???) We were disappointed with a few things on the ship. Firstly, the staff in general were not very friendly, especially in the Oceanview Bar at the rear of the ship, the service was very slow, it seemed there wasn't enough staff on and they didn't seem to care! The exception to this was our cabin steward, he was very friendly and greeted us by name every time he saw us. We could not fault the main dining area The San Marco Restaurant, the food and service were excellent. Entertainment in the theatre was average to say the least. We went to a few shows but were not that impressed. We had pre-booked a couple of excursions, Santorini, and Amalfi Drive & Pompeii. Santorini was very good, the only comment I would make is that we didn't get enough time in Oia. The Amalfi drive was spectacular and the lunch was just ok. Pompeii was very interesting but again it was quite rushed. Disembarkation was very good and well organised. Overall we were expecting a 5* experience, I would give it no more than 4*.

A bit disappointing - Greek Isles

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2A
Cabin 2A 7164
Nice clean cabin with plenty of storage space, ideally situated. The only thing, it would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities.
Deck 7 Inside Cabins, Outside Cabins, Balcony Cabins, Suite Cabins
