Interested in the northern Europe countries that were part of the cruise. We'd also heard wonderful things about Viking Cruises and they were all true. We very much enjoyed our cabin and the balcony with ample storage, complete minibar, comfortable bed and seating area. Embarkation and disembarkation were very smooth and easy. The shore excursions were informative and provided interesting information on each port. The dining was exceptional. The food was very good and gave us the opportunity to meet new friends at every sitting. The entertainment, including the outdoor movies and popcorn were a very nice touch. The service at all the meals was exceptional, as was the service with our cabin.The meet and greet and subsequent travel to the embarkation port was seamless from the airport. In all, we were extremely satisfied with our Viking Homeland Cruise and will certainly plan another Viking Cruise in the near future.
