the sliver sea company did a great job for our cruise. the suite on deck 9 was very roomy.linens and towels were terrific. our butler could not have been nicer. whenever we asked for something the answer was always- no problem . we liked the food best in the main dining room. we didnt like la terraza-. the grill had a clever concept where you cook your meal on a sizzling platter- i was fun. la dam was definitely worth the extra expense. it is very small and the food was outstanding.

we went on two excursions with the cruise- one to gasson -in st trpez and then one excursion in alghero. both were good and reasonably priced. we did other excursions by doing my own research.

we brought our luggage to the pier at 12:30 and were actually able to get our id . we then went on our tour and by the time we returned to the ship at 6:30 w were able to get into our room. being able to at least drop the luggage off was great. we were pleasantly surprised at how easy the embarkation and disembarkation were compared to a bigger ship. after this cruise we could never go back to a large ship.
