Sail Date: Nov 2009

This was our 15th cruise. We have cruised the Caribbean many times and are not partial to any individual cruise line. This was our 5th sailing with RCC. We found that the service, although good, was just not what is used to be. It seemed like the cruise line was always asking for your money. Whether it was through PA announcements, pushing drinks at any of the countless bar, or selling cheesy 'flea market' type items on the promenade, it was a bit too much. We liked it better when everything was a bit more "understated"....it gave the ship and it's passengers a little more 'class'.

The food was fine, the entertainment was good, we used the spa, gym, pool, nightclub and casino. Everything was just O.K. Somehow all of us felt that RCC has lost its magic touch. Would I sail with them again? Probably. We live in NYC and Bayonne, NJ is very convenient for us.

In the meantime, we will sail again soon and compare notes.

Cabin Review

Our cabin was fine.
