This was my third Viking Cruise, but my first Ocean cruise. The ship itself was beautiful and very well equipped with everything a traveller would need!

Our Deluxe Veranda cabin was just big enough for our needs. The bathroom was large and comfortable. Heated floors were a bonus. The body lotion, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were by Freyer and were excellent quality. They were replenished as needed throughout the cruise. Our cabin steward, Vivek, was a sweetheart who attended to our cabin and our needs throughout our voyage! I wanted to take him home with me...lol. There was always cold drinks, snacks and water in the refrigerator, but we were never hungry or thirsty.

The spa on board the ship was like going to a very upscale spa anywhere in the world. We used the spa 4 times on our cruise and it was never busy. There was a small heated pool, therapy pool, dry and wet sauna, a bucket full of cold water, and a snow/ice room to go in when you were done with the hot pools. We each had a massage, which was an extra charge, and that was wonderful. This was one of the many highlights of the cruise.
