We had a group of 10 however 3 days before the cruise one couple had to cancel as he had to have open heart surgery. We were sad they weren't able to sail with us but he is doing fine.

We always choose to arrive a day early as January weather can be a problem. We were able to get a straight through flight from Columbus, OH to Miami a rarity these days. Flight went smooth and we arrived around noon. We had booked our hotel through Hotwire for $55.00 a night at the Wyhdam. They had free transportation from the airport to the hotel. You are pretty limited where you can go so we ate at the hotel and it was a little pricey at lunch so we had Pizza delivered that evening. That was a mistake should have coughed up the extra and ate at the hotel. We were able to get early check in and that was nice got rid of that luggage. Too cold to swim but nice to be outside. We took a taxi to the airport and was $25.00 for 4 of us.

Arrived at the port early and they were a little late letting people on. We heard they had 8 passengers that hadn't been accounted for but all was cleared up and we were on by 1:00. We use the internet and print our boarding pass so embarkation went smoothly. Read more
