My husband and I wanted to try a Viking Ocean cruise. We have been on several Viking River cruises and have thoroughly enjoyed them. We had never been to Iceland, Norway or Scotland so this was the perfect cruise for us. We loved the ship! It was very comfortable and did not seem crowded at all. We were a little concerned about having 900 people on the cruise when we were used to 200 people on the river boat cruises. There was plenty of room and nothing was overcrowded. All excursions were well organized so they did not seem crowded either. The food in all restaurants was outstanding!! One of my wishes was that there had been more lectures on the history of Norway and the Scandanavian countries. We feel like there were not enough lectures during each day on all different topics with regard to the areas we were traveling in. We also wish there had been more walking tours offered for the excursions. We had to take too many bus tours. The Viking staff was 5 star as always!!

Cabin Review

Cabin Veranda

Our cabin had plenty of room and was very comfortable. We did have the lowest category of cabin and it was a very good value for the money. The housekeeping staff was outstanding. They were very friendly and always had our room clean and well stocked.
