My wife and I are seniors and we enjoy the historical aspect of cruising and this was perfect for that. The food on board was great as well as the food in each of the cities we visited. We attended all the land excursions as well as optional excursions we purchased. We also participated in both the pre and post cruise excursions. They were all wonderful. The only thing was my wife would have liked more time for shopping.The service was outstanding. The staff and officers made us feel like we were traveling with family. This was also the case on the 28 day Viking European Sojourn river cruise we attended in 2017.

We still communicate with the staff and officers of both cruises.

We now have been on Viking river cruises and ocean cruises. We have Viking cruises scheduled through 2020 and are looking for more. Read more
