a cruise i have been wanting to do for a few years. we finally bit the bullet and spent the money to go. service could not have been better. if you can do it for a special occasion
DO IT!! service of ice water at the pool - no problem finding plenty of open chairs. then sorbet and champagne around 3:30 to cool you off! high tea at 4pm in the tea room. smiling and accommodating help. great food which included something from the country we were visiting, free beers and wine with lunch and dinner, great burgers by the pool, a spa with a room full of snow, bathrooms with heated floors, lectures and entertainment also about and from the ports of call.
an example of the service - i am short and had trouble using the single cup coffee maker that was on a shelf set in about shoulder high. to fill you had to put water in a container at the back of it and then press a few buttons on top which i had a hard time seeing . when we received a survey in our cabin asking for suggestions and comments my husband suggested in the future planning of rooms to switch the safe and the shelf to make it easier to use. the next evening our room steward showed up - "I am here to move your coffee maker!" we aim to make everyone happy. i will fill the back with water for you also! wow was my husband impressed as was I. this is just an example of what we experienced daily - besides the ship being beautiful. the right size also to get into tight ports of call. one great experience! my other cruise experiences pale in comparison.
great! water and soda available in the fridge, comfortable bed, closet and drawer space adequate, shower was roomy, HEATED FLOOR in br, veranda was nice, quiet, nice sitting area.
