When we boarded the "Norwegian Sky" we were "pushed" through a maze of crew members trying to sell every "package" deal the ship offered. NCL has apparently done away with their signature "welcome aboard champagne" as we received none this trip. NCL's policy of automatically adding your gratuities to your bill has OBVIOUSLY caused the crew members to be less attentive. I personally like to reward individuals for good service and this policy only encourages POOR service. I don't know why it's necessary to have photo sessions on the stairways, find someplace else people. Broadway show was awful! (Singers ) were terrible!!!! The very worse though, was DISEMBARKATION! NCL has no clue how to do this effectively and efficiently. Trying to move all those people through one gangway does not work. We took our luggage ashore using the "easy walk off" method which was a real joke. It took nearly an hour to get off the ship. There was such a bottleneck at the gangway that it backed up over to the hallways, stairways and elevators. There virtually was NO "EASY WALK OFF" and, of course, there were no crew members around to advise what the problem was and why the line wasn't moving. People were visibly upset and agitated. This ship is showing it's age and needs more than new paint. I'm cancelling my reservation to cruise NCL in November.
