We chose this cruise after taking a Viking River cruise last year. We were even more impressed with the ocean cruise. From the organization to the excursions, rooms and dining, everything was top notch. We loved our room and all of the amenities. Viking was flexible on excursion changes when we had variable weather. The luxury spa and gym facilities were more than we could have expected on any ship. Free use of laundry facilities was greatly appreciated. I wish it would have been easier to make dinner reservations with our friends, who were in a different cabin category. We were a little disappointed that the bocce ball court was eliminated from the sports deck. We really enjoyed the Wintergarden afternoon tea. The band and musical entertainment was really good. We enjoyed them in the Torshavn lounge, the theatre and the poolside movie time. We danced a couple of nights to the band. I would recommend doing a lot of research on the optional excursions, so you don't miss out on the wonderful opportunities of things to do. Our favorite tour was Enchanting Toarmina. I would do this cruise again.
