Sail Date: Jan 2010

That is what happened on the Jan. 14, 2010 cruise, as well as the cruise over New Years. How could this happen? Who would do this? For the Jan. 14th cruise we waited outside for an hour and a half- and then another hour and a half standing inside before we even got to the check-in counter! I am amazed that an ambulance only had to be called once(that I saw)! To set the stage, the ship was late due to a dry dock. But Royal knew it was going to be late days before it arrived! So why didn't they rent some space heaters? Why didn't they buy some carpet to put on the outside cement floor? Why didn't they have people at the port who cared and were informed? These are simple things that a cruise line that cared could easily do! Now, let's get on with the cruise. Royal did give us the usual Royal cruise. The food was good. The entertainment was good. The ice show was great. All stuff that makes people like Royal. So why ruin it by seeming not to care? Is it Cape Liberty only? I don't want to cruise out of there ever again! For three straight years we have taken this cruise and twice they have screwed it up. Two years ago they were late also and some people in my group didn't get aboard until 8:30 PM. Will they ever do their management job right?
