Choose this because of neighbor experience in a prior year. Our first on Silversea. The ship and staff were awesome. Beautiful cabin - great butler and housekeeper. Tried all the dining rooms and all were excellent. Many onboard activities. Some later than our bodies could handle. But all that we attended were terrific. The Port visits were just great and were a super platform for going on our selected shore excursions. Shore excursions that we selected were all fun (with one exception - the canoe trip - which was lovely location with a guide on the boat that was fine, but the rest of the crew for travel to/from and condition of equipment including the bus was marginal)..

We did not use much of the fitness capabilities on the ship as we selected shore activities that gave us good work outs.

Pre-cruise to Denali was a great start to the cruise. Train trip to Denali was much fun. Grande Denali Lodge perfect for the setting. Trip through the park was long (8 hours school bus) but no other way to see it. Alyeska Hotel was awesome. Matin Buser stop very fun and educational. Jimmie Hendrix brief on his climb was fasinating. We did our own post-cruise to Vancouver - Suspension bridge and Stanley park were great.

As noted above - just perfect! Pankaj our butler, and Dipan Datta our suite attendant really spoiled us!
