This cruise had a different start and end point which gave us the opportunity to spend a few days in two great cities: Anchorage, Vancouver BC. Since we like outdoor adventure, we enjoyed Norwegian's freestyle which means we didn't have to pack a lot of dressy clothes. We stuck with casual and were able take enough hiking/action adventure clothing as well. The shows on the cruise were excellent. Food was very good. We were a little disappointed in the service in the restaurants and the bartenders but we finally happened upon an excellent dinner wait staff but it took a few days. We liked the service hours in the restaurants which worked well with the ports so we did not have to eat off the cruise line very much. Our cabin steward was excellent -- friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the excursions. There is a hefty upcharge for aerobic classes in the fitness center which dissuaded many from attending the "pay" classes. I was the only person in most of the speciality classes. Norwegian should reconsider it's pricing strategy for aerobic classes.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M1

Loved the space in this cabin. My husband is 6'5" and he gets very uncomfortable in tight spaces. We had a full tub and way more storage space then we wanted. We brought 3 suitcases and were able to empty them into drawers. We also liked the cleanliness.
