  • Cabin Type: Aquatheater Suite with Balcony - Deck 9

We picked this ship because it is really large. With our Star Class, getting on and off the boat was always easy. Our Genie took care of us so we waited very little. The ship has lots to do, is clean and absolutely beautiful. Our cabin was a suite. There are 2 suites bigger than ours but they don't sleep but 4 or 6. Ours sleeps 8 and was spacious. The views were great, the balcony was amazing and the service was above and beyond my expectations. Being Star Class definitely made us feel like Royalty! Your personal Genie caters to your every need. I had 4 fourteen year old boys and they had a blast. Plenty for them to do socially and they love sports. They were occupied at all times and I always felt they were safe and supervised. They loved the 24 hour room service! The entertainment was awesome. We saw Cats, the Aqua theater water show, the ice skating show, the comedy show and all of the bands and singers. We missed some shows, just ran out of time. All of the shows and bands were great! Some of our group did other events and loved them all. My husband played poker and gave it a big thumbs up. The staff at all levels are very accommodating and kind. They work hard and seem to be happy to serve. The food was delicious and we ate way too much! The shore excursions were typical. Ours was not described accurately for St. Thomas (said 2 beaches but was only 1 and rushed). It was snorkeling too and not many fish. Nassau at Atlantis is crowded and the rain closed it for a bit. But there is a beach and it has jet skis for rent and other water activities. St. Maarten was our best! Sea Trek and they threw in some snorkeling. We saw lots of fish there. Then we found a Zip line on our own afterwards that Royal Caribbean does not sell and it was the best of all. It was a zip line plus you could ride an inner tube down the mountain. Just need more time at all the stops. Typical for a cruise but there is always a rush and of course, lots of people. But everyone was friendly and we always felt safe. Bring cash off ship for extras! Jet skis Etc want cash.

Cabin Review

Aquatheater Suite with Balcony - Deck 9
Cabin A2 9330

Our cabin was amazing! It is located at the very back of the ship on the corner. It has a balcony and den that lets you see in three directions and was extremely large. The balcony had room for entertaining, meal time at a table for 8, viewing ship activities, privacy and sun bathing. If desired, they gladly prepare the tables for meals and it is nice. The den area is full glass on three sides so the view was amazing and it was spacious. This cabin is the only suite that sleeps 8 I think so that was what we really needed. The master is big with it's own bathroom with a tub/shower, there is a second bathroom with a shower, and a second bedroom that sleeps 4 (pull man beds). Both bedrooms have doors, not just a curtain like some rooms. The couch in the den sleeps 2 and was comfortable. There is also a second bench couch in the den but it does not make into a bed. The Star class makes this room worth every penny! Tons of special treatment and amenities all over the ship! You have a personal Genie and ours was incredible. He caters to your every need. They bring food and drinks to this room constantly! It also had a TV in every room and the den and a play station with games in the den. There is a dining table with 3 chairs in the den plus the one on the balcony. There is a bar with 3 bar stools on the balcony also. Lots of chairs on the balcony (2 lounge chairs too) and plenty of seating in the den. Plenty of closets and drawers for storage. Mini fridge in master and mini fridge in den with a small bar area (no sink). The fridges were very small though.

Atlantis Resort

Rain prevented slides from opening for first hour. The time here is not long enough because so many people. The beach was nice but crowded. There are jet skis and other water activities to rent(bring cash). Its pretty, just need more time.

We did the Fast Cats II Snorkel and beach tour.(not 100% sure of the exact tour name) The description was false. You only go to one beach, not two as advertised. We went to Honeymoon beach. But first you snorkel out in the open water. When snorkeling, we saw very few fish but some people did see one turtle. They said it was a guided tour but then just let everyone off with very little "guidance." Lots of people so crowded and not enough time. Boat ride was VERY rough...they were hurrying. The boat ride would have been more enjoyable if they would just slow down a little. It made some sea sick.

Very rough ride and not in a good fun way. You had to stay in your seat and hang on!! The one beach was crowded and we weren't there very long. They told you to buy food there, I spent the entire time in a line for food. (Food was Good though) I didn't mind because we all thought we were going to another beach still but that was wrong. We left there and it was over. We all asked about the misleading description and tour lady said they hear that all the time. I told her maybe they should fix it and she just looked at me. After the snorkel portion, they did offer Rum Punch and soft drinks for the rest of the trip. Its a family style trip so lots of little kids mixed with adults. The crew was nice and safety conscience but it was not my favorite and I have done similar ones in the past.

Sea trek:You put a helmet on and walk on the ocean floor. We saw lots of fish and teenagers bounced around and loved it. The crew let us snorkel in between turns also which was not advertised as part of the deal. Not sure if that always is offered. Saw more fish here than on our snorkel tour in St. Thomas. Next, we had time left so we found Rain Forest Adventures with ziplines! Touts the steepest zip line in the world and it was our favorite trip by far! It is at the top of a mountain and views are great! They offer multiple amazing zip lines and also an inner tube can be ridden down a track on side of mountain. A lift takes you to the top. My teenagers and husband loved this better than anything else! This place is not contracted with Royal Caribbean so they don't advertise it so look for it! It was safe and the crew was super fun and nice. The zip line is called the Flying Dutchman!
