Boat is anchored and we have used a tender to go ashore.
Some of the fabulous food we had.
View from the ship.

I chose this cruise as it sails from North Shields where I was born and I had always wanted to sail out of the Tyne! The staff and food were amazing. The scenery was everything we expected and the whole thing went very smoothly. Would highly recommend. We did one excursion and then just went ashore and did our own thing. It was very expensive ashore but as we had an all inclusive package it wasn’t a problem as it wasn’t too far back to the boat to eat. The ship also provided buses and tenders to transfer us so it was very quick. We did have to pay for some items on the ship but the staff always told us when we ordered. The two restaurants were amazing 47 and Gallery 47 which served Italian food. The buffet was excellent as well with a huge choice of foods but sometimes found it tricky for us all to sit together as there were 6 of us. Grandson loved the fact he could get chips at any time of day!

Cabin Review

Cabin A

Everything we needed in a small space. Only issue was the shower as it was too small. Grandson is six foot one and had to bend as his head blocked the shower! Also we had booked deck 3 but were on deck 2.
