We were on Carnival Miracle for a Southern Caribbean cruise Jan 23, 2010 for 8 night. Our Cabin was #8156 Mid-ship Panorama Deck with extended balcony. Ports of call: St-Marteen, St-Lucia and St-Kitts.

We really enjoyed ourselves on this cruise. The first 3 days and last 2 days are at sea which let us unwind from the daily work routine and also after 3 days of port hopping. That was a great way as well to enjoy the ships amenities and activities. Firstly, I love the way the ship is designed and has a great flow. Easy to get around and our cabin location could not have been better. On our last cruise we had a cabin at the very back of the ship and it felt like we were constantly going back and forth to the front. I think the mid ship cabins are easier to get to and make it easier for us to situate ourselves. Loved our balcony, enjoyed many sunsets and breakfasts there. Beds were comfortable, cabin service excellent. (Thanks to our stewart Mr. Untoro)

Malcolm the Cruise Director is a blast, he is the funniest of the Carnival fleet thus far. Unforgettable. Witty and funny all the way. Gabe, Julie, Laura, Lawrence (Ya man!) were very cheerful and fun too. Great job guys, you kept us entertained all week long. Shows were great, loved the ones with audience participation, more unpredictable. Great shows, band and dancers, beautiful costumes. High 5!

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

Taxis stands are right in port and are ready to take you to the beach for $7 per person each way. Paid $8 per chair (padded) in St-Marteen french side (Orient Beach-Kokoa beach bar)

St. Lucia

We did the Land and sea combo in St-Lucia and it was very interesting and well paced. The line up on the dock for this tours was fairly long, I would say maybe 50-60+ people.

**Shopping on the port is right off the ship** Within 10 minutes we were on our bus.

Our tour started with the bus (12 persons) tour of part of the island with a few stops along the way for pictures and souvenirs purchases opportunities. We bought banana ketchup! Many beautiful views of the port and the seas are breathtaking. The bus tour takes you up in the mountains. Stopped at the gardens and Diamond falls, and the volcano (stinks like rotten eggs-yuck) was nothing like i've seen before. Lunch was served once we were on board our catamaran portion of the tour. It was a nice leisure sail with one stop for 45mins to snorkel-awesome!! Water was so warm and fish colourful.

This excursion is full day so you won't have time to do much else in St-Lucia. It's a good tour to get to know the island in my opinion. We enjoyed it.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Took a taxi to beach and paid $3 per chair on Cockshell beach in St-Kitts (Thanks to Bernard our driver). Both beaches were phenomenal and we had a great time.
