I am a first time cruiser and this cruise basically deterred me away from future cruises. I would like to start with saying our housekeeping gentleman was by far the nicest on the ship!! I would have to agree with other reviews where the bar staff was not very friendly which seemed very odd to me. I also was very upset that they nickel and dimed everything!!! The cruise was not cheap to book and then any activities were an extra charge, you want to bowl $6, you want to use the race track that’s like $10, you want to laser rage that’s about $12. Also there is a fee to go to specialty restaurants. The main buffet in my opinion did not offer much of a variety they should of had special nights ( like italian, Mexican, bbq. They did offer seafood but did not offer crab legs and being on an Alaskan cruise I feel like they should of.) Having to make reservations for all they shows also cuts down on what you can do during you cruise, I found that a little annoying especially because by time you were trying to book everything was taken. The adults only section of the ship needs a lot of work!! Very boring up there, there was a bar a smoking section, some lounge chairs, some shower looking thing, and two hot tubs. They should have had some entertainment up there and it should be open till at least midnight! Kids basically did whatever they wanted almost zero supervision which to me seemed insane!! The ship has no where to get drinks 24/7 which was annoying, also they need to implement more then one location for eating 24/7!
