My husband and I chose to go on this amazing Alaskan cruise July 7-14 because it was tied to Charles Stanley In-touch Ministries. Neither of us had ever been on a cruise before and we were very excited. We splurged on our room and stayed in one of the Neptune Suites on the 7th deck in room 7064. It was mid ship and was perfectly located allowing us to enjoy morning coffee and a light breakfast from the Neptune Lounge. We LOVED everything about our room!!!!! With the exception of breakfast, the Lido food was generally average but with many choices. The Main Dining room was elegant but our designated table (175) was directly over the propellers on the second deck and it was very noisy. We also thought that while the menu looked impressive the quality of the food served was a bit disappointing. However, our waiter, Taufik, made up for much of our disappointment as he was amazingly friendly, funny, and gave us great service. Other crew members who helped make this cruise memorable were our room stewards, Frank & Nanda, who always made us feel special. Also the other Nanda (female) in the Lido dining area, and Dhana at Tamerind (best meal on the boat) could not have been more friendly and both were clever and funny!
A very spacious cabin with all the perks! Exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed our big balcony as much as we did our room.
Loved Frank and Nanda....wonderful, friendly and joyful! Took exceptional care of us and our room.
Walked the city. Wish we could have been here longer. We plan to go back.
