We chose this cruise ship because we wanted to try a lot of onboard activities. The good: -we loved our “indoor balcony” that overlooked Cental Park. Beautiful plants and often music -we loved the food. Sorrentos has the best cruise ship pizza ever. We had heard that the Windjammer was crazy, but it really depended on the time. It usually wasn’t too bad and it had a great selection of food. The Solarium bistro was lovely for breakfast. -the dive show (Oasis of Dreams) was incredible! -the photographers were great. There were lots of opportunities to have pictures taken -the solarium was a relaxing and kid-free place. We enjoyed the various types of lounge chairs and the whirlpools. -the app was a great way to keep up with what was going on during the day and to find your way around the ship. You can also make reservations through the app. -the rock wall was fun and challenging. The equipment for the rock wall, zip line, and flow rider was all in great condition -we loved the outdoor movies in the Aqua Theater The Bad: -two big shows were cancelled due to an equipment failure. The replacement shows were thrown together at the last minute and were not great. They were mostly singers. Most of the music was from the 60’s and 70’s. This did not appeal to most people on board. Very disappointing when we were expecting to see Cats and an acrobatic show called Come Fly with Me. -several game shows (Family Feud, the Liars Club, and the Perfect Couple for example) were held in small venues. There was standing room only and many people still could not attend because of lack of space. Also disappointing. -the mattress in our room was old and uncomfortable. It would have been nice if the room temperature would have gone down to 70 degrees. It was a bit warm -the pools were packed! We didn’t even attempt to get in them -we bought the soda package. We received a cup. The cup was large but the lid was not leakproof. There were a few soda refill machines around the ship. It was nice to not have to wait at the bar for refills, but there should have been more machines. Also the machines were often out of ice.

Great cruise, entertainment could have been better
