This was our second cruise through Carnival. We had a wonderful time on the smoke-free Paradise! The ship was beautiful, clean, service was excellent, smiles everywhere and the food... food, and more food... they force fed you lobster! no lie! You can have your pictures developed on the ship for about $7 and they give you a free album. Drinks were reasonably priced, especially the morning specials. You can have professional portraits done, they can be pricey as you have to buy the 8x10 at $20 before you choose the smaller sizes.... all in all, can't wait to book another cruise.
Belize: (tender port) tours were a little overpriced onboard. Cave tubing seemed to be the most popular.. about $85 per person.
Isla Roatan: This was paradise. We took the Taybana Beach Break tour, $35 per person. We had the beach all to our selves and ladies can get their entire hair braided for $25. Beer are $2 and very good.
Grand Cayman Island: (tender port) We went on the beach break to the Beach Club at $21 per person. This beach was crowded....and very touristy.
Cozumel! Who doesn't like Cozumel? We went to Paradise beach on our own $26 round trip taxi for 2 people. The beach is free, snorkel, water, trampoline, hammocks, iceberg etc.... We went shopping and you can definitely barter with sales people here. Great deals on silver and jewelry. All duty free.
Our favorite spot was Isla Roatan, Honduras. This was an unspoiled island. Very quiet and relaxing! The people were so nice. Do a ship tour if ever on this island.
This itinerary will no longer be available on the Paradise, as the ship is relocating to the west-coast and will no longer stay smoke free. Other Carnival Cruiseships stop at these ports though!
If you have any questions about the ship, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll be more than happy to help.
