Our overall cruise was wonderful and we enjoyed it tremendously. We were a family of 12 and ranging in age form 7 to 70. The main dining room staff took great care of us, fulfilling our wishes. We choose Freedom for the shop class and past experience on the same ship and the itinerary. Overall the cruise vacation was wonderful. Our room was nice and kept very clean. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.

The disappointments: The hard up sell and nickel and dime tactics once on bard. RCCL is starting to slip and lose their edge in our eyes. Once on bard we headed to the windjammer for lunch and while eating (yes while eating) had to listen to a 15 minute sales pitch on the specialty dining. Once that was done, we had to listen to the sales pitch on the galley tour. I understand RCCL wanting to drive revenue and up-sell. But, I am on vacation and at least let us start day one on a positive note.

No pool volleyball or pool games at all, we enjoy those activities - bring them back RCCL.

Ocean View Balcony

Cabin 1D

Our cabin was fine, no complaints. The room attendant was awesome.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

We did our own thing and went to Meghans Bay - very enjoyable

Aruba

We did our own snorkeling tour, great time had by all.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

My favorite island on this trip. We did our own tour here as well. We took a taxi to the beach and our drive was outstanding. If you go, look for Greg's taxi service, he took us out to the beach made scenic stops along the way and did not want paid until he brought us back to the ship. The island is beautiful.
