On ( May 21 st) we traveled on Norwegian Cruise lines ( the Jewel) on an Alaska tour. The scenery of the enviroment throughout the tour was simply breathtaking. The food on the ship at the main dining room was what, we considered to be average or rather more like cafeteria style fast food, nothing to really rave about quality wise.

On several ocasions the corn on the cobs were completely dried out, and the majority of the deserts were simply terrible in taste. The pool and spa could not be utilized due to cold weather and this is mind boggling why this area was not enclosed and or heated as well for the passengers to utilize during the cruise.

We booked a train tour ride at Skagway thru Norwegian shore excursions which unfortunately was canceled at the last minute due to a rock slide that damaged the train tracks. Although we were disappointed we were offered a discount on the excursion tour and a bus tour ride instead.
