Avalon Tapestry II Cruise Review by Dlarkin
- Sail Date: July 2018
- Destination: Europe River
- Cabin Type: Outside Stateroom with French Balcony
This was our first cruise. We wanted to see the Normandy Beaches, which did not disappoint. We had a WWII historian traveling with us and his presentations were very interesting and insightful! All of the villages and towns had beautiful cathedrals and incredible architecture, so many sights to photograph and experience. The food on the boat was delicious and plentiful! We enjoyed some of the best chocolate chip cookies daily in the aft lounge. The Captain, Cruise Director and the Crew on the TapastryII were so informative and personable. Our room was beautiful and it was such a treat to open the sliding glass door which converted our room to a French balcony to be able to enjoy the river as we cruised! Being able to see and experience all the sites that we had only read about in history books or seen on TV was amazing! I would highly recommend this trip! We are already planning our next cruise!!!
