MSC Yacht club makes the cruising much more comfortable but it is still a normal cruise with some upscale features. We did Mediterranean with Fantasia for seven days and then the brand new Seaview seven days also staying ashore in-between for 2 days.

The embarkation was extremely smooth. In Barcelona there was an YC tent outside the terminal. Inside the YC had a small “lounge” build in the corner of the terminal. A bit strange while everybody could see the guests sipping their sparkling wine just separated by a string line. We could hardly finish our glasses as they wanted to accompany us to the ship. The luggages were delivered extremely quickly to the cabin.

The cabin is actually a normal balcony stateroom always it si called a suite. It may have a bit more space and a separate closet space. The minibar is included in the price and it should be filled everyday. We asked only for some light cola but even that seemed to be too difficult for the “butler”.
