Have been on several Royal Caribbean Cruises but never to Bahamas so we thought this would be fun. We also were eager to try staying in cabin over looking the Promenade. That turned out to be a very nice experience. Cabin seemed a little bit larger than we expected. The only draw back is your curtains must be shut when you want privacy because you can see into cabins across from yours. We loved the Promenade deck just to walk around. We found even if we needed to go from aft to forward we would always walk through the promenade. So much going on any hour of the day or night. Also on that note the room was not noisy even thought we were were very close to the Duck and Dog pub.
We didn’t do any of the excursions but we enjoyed all the activities the ship had to offer.
Played a lot of trivia games. Also loved the improvisational musical comedy by David Curtis in the Schooner Bar. He was so funny and so talented.
I would recommend rooms above the promenade.
Even though it was an inside cabin you never felt like you were inside.
So much going on day and night in promenade you always felt like you had a front row seat. If we go on either Adventures of the seas or Explorer again we will try to get cabin a bit closer to the bridge and on deck 7. I think that view would be even better.
