Sail Date: Jul 2018
Cabin: The Haven Deluxe Owner's Suite with Large Balcony

Every year a group of 4 (3 adults & one 18 year old) take a cruise. My friends all said NO to Norwegian but i've never sailed with them so I convinced them to do the NYC to Bermuda. (we wanted to enjoy a weekend in the city prior to departure)

It's a big splurge for us and we always secure the very best suite/ penthouse accommodation (fare for the group totaled 19,000 for the best cabin in the ship: Haven Deluxe Owner’s Suite)

The Escape was very elegant! However I was so disappointed in many levels with Norwegian.

Cabin Review

The Haven Deluxe Owner's Suite with Large Balcony

Cabin H2

*2 burned out light bulbs in chandelier, 1 in living room, (replaced days later)

*backwards lamp shade,

*inoperable remote for the television, even when replaced.

(the correct side had oil stains all over it)

*A/C was among the best I've experienced. 4 individual comfort controls for the various areas of the suite.

*way ABOVE average bathroom in 2nd guest room.

*Guest half bath off foyer was a nice touch.

*needed another chair or Pouff to sit on in living room, there was only a sofa and 1 chair.

*interior design was modern and tasteful.

*in suite speakers thruout would have been nice for the Bose sound system.

*appeared to be a missing piece of artwork in a designated slot.

*heavy odor in master bathroom upon arrival that lasted the first 2 days

*a towel and hand soap would have been nice by the bar sink

*automatic light in the dressing room was bothersome, as it had to be walked by to get to the bathroom (particularly annoying in the middle of the night when not trying to wake up too much when going to the toilet)

*no comforters were provided with the extra bedding, even when asked.

*incorrect in-room clock time throughout the entire cruise

*seems silly to have the bathroom stall and shower stall both see-thru glass in the master bath (what if somebody else wants to get ready at the sink?)

*the faucets in the master sinks were way too close to the edge of the sink bowl; nearly impossible to wash hands without distorting them to fit against the rim

*appeared to be a loose piece of glass railing on balcony that violently shook when it was windy; almost thought it was going to break off.
