We picked it because of the itinerary and the ship looked like a good fit for a couple with older teens. We were very impressed with the ship, ports, and service. (this was the Italy/Greece cruise). The ship is very modern and clean. The food was great, especially Luminae. Le Petite Chef was fun too (and we also enjoyed the Tuscan Grill and the Lawn Club). I loved everything about this cruise except for the pool and entertainment. The entertainment is not good, so if that is your thing - you won't find it here. (They even need a new music director - the Sunset bar had a playlist from the 80's going all the time. I feel like even through most folks were in their 40's-50's - they should try harder to set a more current vibe with their playlists). The pool is very crowded and not much space to lay out. That being said, we loved the ship, staff, restaurants, etc. This is a GREAT ship and a very tight operation. We never felt crowded - getting on and off was easy, etc. If in doubt, spring for the suite. Very worth it! Also had a blast watching all the people from different countries cheer on their team for the World Cup. Great trip!
We stayed in a CS suite with our teens (Because we wanted to keep an eye on them). It was so worth the money to stay in the CS suite, Huge balcony and loved eating at Luminae. It was a bit tight with 4 people in there, but the bedroom is separated out from the pullout couch and bed, so it still worked. Having the large balcony, the butler, and the dedicated dining made it very worth choosing the suite!
