Our 50th wedding anniversary and we planned a Alaskan cruise . After research, decided that Celebrity Solstice was rated as excellent. Loved every minute. Ship was beautiful and extra clean. Crew treated us as totals. Captain Tasos was fun , approachable. Scenery was unbelievable. Can't go wrong with this cruise. The ports were all enjoyable. Excursions planned well and of Course, White Pass/ Yukon train ride was so wonderful. Would like to take another cruise to Alaska but think will try Land/ Sea cruise next time. There is so much beauty to see in Alaska and more time on land would be great. Recommend Celebrity Solstice to anyone seeking to travel with all amenities and be comfortable. Hopefully you will get the chance to try it. The meals are always good and plentiful. Didn't try the pay as you go restaurants because the meals in Main dining room were always good.
