We live in Seattle, so primarily picked this cruise because of the departure port and itinerary as well as the fact that it was a brand new mega-ship with exciting amenities (go-kart race track, laser tag).

We very much enjoyed the cruise overall, largely due to the awesome scenery of south-east Alaska and the fact that we had fantastic weather throughout.

The main drawback was, perhaps surprisingly, the ship itself. We've been on several cruises before (different lines, itineraries etc..) and this one felt more crowded on-board compared to the others. It seems that the ratio of amenity capacity to number of passengers was lower than ideal. This showed mainly in the fact that the most popular attractions on the ship were overbooked and, as a result, unavailable. There is an interactive booking system throughout the ship to make reservations for the various specialty restaurants and other attractions such as the race track and laser tag.

Mini-Suite with Large Balcony

nothing much to say... size of shower was nice. Everything very much as expected for a modern, large ship
