Family members encouraged the cruise and we wanted to back to the port city and eventually see Alaska. We visited the departure city for 3.5 days before embarkation and loved Seattle. The process to get on the ship was smooth but getting off the ship, we were at the airport almost 4 hours early. The service on the ship was well below average except in the club class dining area. The assistant manager and manager of the spa were extremely rude and disrespectful to my mother in law and myself. We were double charged for our services in the spa. If any one is going to get multiple services at the spa, I would recommend doing your most expensive service last to take advantage of the 10,20,30 promotion (10% of first service, etc.) as this promotion is not advertised online.

Cabin (suite) was nice but the ship does not utilize reusing towels, recycling in the rooms, etc. Overall it was clean just outdated.

The food was average but the service outside of club class was well below average. Drinks were slow to be delivered and extremely sweet. There are no 'specialty beers' at any dining room.

Owner's Suite with Balcony

Cabin S2

The cabin was clean but outdated. We didn't need the additional bath tub but the walk in closet was a plus so we could put away our luggage for the week.

Port Reviews

Seattle

We went to Pike Place, Starbucks Roastery, Chihuly Museum, Space Needle, Sky View Observatory and the Ferris Wheel. I would recommend all of them!
