The ship looked amazing, and had a lot of activity. I thought it would be perfect for all our children in multiple age groups. Our children 12, 15, and 19 year old cruised with us. We are familiar with Galveston, so spend a couple nights in Houston visiting friends before we headed to the port on Sunday morning. I had seen embarkation YouTube videos that told us to have patience. We were pleasantly surprised because the process was extremely fast. It took less than 30 min for us to get on board. WoW! Cabins are ready by 1:00pm so we had a couple of hours to explore and have lunch at the WindJammer. Food was great We had booked 2 balcony ocean view cabins and they were nice and cozy. All our week long clothes/stuff fit in nicely inside the cabinets and drawers and the suitcase were out of the way under the bed. Liberty of the seas has a lot of activity; flow rider, wall climbing, water slides, pools, etc. that kept all our kids and us occupied. We were treated like kings/queens at the main dining. Food was great, but the service and attention to details was excellent. Our shore excursions were awesome, although next time I might choose some less strenuous activity to make it a little more relaxing. Our kids loved the cruise. They made new friends, and had tears on the last day. They are asking us now, when is our next cruise? May be again this winter :)
