We chose this cruise on Discovery partly because we wanted to sample one of TUI's newer ships as they're finally retiring Marella Spirit later this year and because we wanted to visit Iceland.
We had read numerous reviews about Discovery prior to the commencement of our trip and the seemingly general negativity of a fair number of those reviews concerned us. We are pleased to say that we needn't have been too concerned.
It is almost always possible to find things that displease you anywhere and there were some things that didn't appeal to us but having some previous experience of the service trade we try to keep an open mind.
Cabin Review
Adequate for our needs. It was clean and kept that way throughout the trip. Any deficiencies were of our own making for not reporting them so that they could be fixed.
