This was such a disappointment! From the moment we arrived on this ship. Although excited to meet our friends and enjoy a 50th, a 40th and a 16th birthday celebration amid visit peaches were had never been, we were nothing but disappointed and upset by what went on. This was the first cruise for half of our group and the 6th or 7th for the other half, although all first time customers of MSC. Needless to say I will not go on another cruise again as it confirmed my fears, although those that had cruised with other companies told us not to be put off by the worst cruise they had ever been on.

Although we booked a Fantastica package that was meant to enable us all to eat together, they separated the party according to room type... this included kids and parents not beeing able to eat together....that took 2 nights to fix. It took so long to get drinks from any bar even though on many occasions there were ample staff to deal with the orders but they stood around chatting. Unless you were pushing your way and shoving your card in their faces like many of the rude customers did, you didn't get served. The buffet restaurant was like a 1 star cafe on the boxing day sales. There is a 10euro service charge per person per day they forget to tell you the cost of, which apparently is to go to the staff as tips so we didn't do it individually, yet anyone would tell you they never got it it went to MSC....not that there were many staff we would have tipped anyway as the service was so terrible. Except for the man looking after our room and the waiter at dinner who looked terrified of making any mistakes.....we did tip them as their service was awesome. The majority of patrons were rude and pushy not that MSC can control who gets on their ship. To disembark for tours was unorganized chaos and our scheduled disembarkcation at the end of the cruise was over 1 hour past our scheduled time. Can't describe how's disillusioned and disapointed we are asked wish we had of dpent our hard earned money experiencing beautiful countries on our own. Dont waste your money!
