We had traveled on Holland America before and whilst disappointed decided to try the Oosterdam as it had been recently re furbished.

Check in was good but then nobody to direct or show you to your cabin. The cabin was good and furnishings excellent.

Before dinner we looked for a nice comfortable bar to have a drink but found there were none. The Crows Nest bar, normally a feature was terrible and looked just a kids play area. A couple of other bars badly furnished with hard timber floors. Read more
