  3. Norwegian Bliss
I have enjoyed every cruise I have taken, but I was extremely disappointed in the Norwegian Bliss and will never take a Norwegian cruise again. It was one difficult thing after another. First of all, each day, the elevators were overcrowded, it took a long time to use them, and people were cramped in them like sardines. Second, you could not find a place to sit in the buffet deck—it was ALWAYS crowded. Third, the reservations for go-cart racing, laser tag, and restaurants were a joke because they had all booked up the first day, so no walk-ins could attend. Due to unusual delays, many who had already reserved had long waits in line, up to an hour and a half. These were advertised as some of the special features for their new ship, and they were not accessible to most guests. Fourth, there was no structure/organization for embarkation and during the the first day drill, an announcement was made, no one knew where to go, and instructions were unclear. Fifth, disembarkation was a mess, again, with no clear instructions and instead of disembarking by certain times for certain decks, guests left when they wanted, again causing overcrowding. Sixth, some of the staff were happy and had smiles, but most were tired and frustrated, with very few smiles, not always providing the best service. They did not go out of their way to please us because they were so tired and frustrated with the lack of direction and overcrowding of guests. Seventh, WiFi and on-ship texting was not accessible and many people were waiting at guest services for a fix during the first few days. Eighth, most of the trivia/dancing/games took place in the Atrium where people were always looking for a place to sit due to constant overcrowding. They should have had these events in the theater where enough seating was available. Finally, you had to place an electronic card in your room at all times in order to keep the lights on and charge cell phones. If you forgot to take out the card, you would get locked in the room. Everything was a task. When you are on a cruise, it should be easy going and RELAXING, but this cruise was stressful and frustrating. There were some positives. Havana, Jersey Boys, and the comedy shows were awesome. The buffet food was tasty with many options. The rooms were spacious with nice configurations. However, again, the negatives outweighed the positives. Norwegian should know better—they have been around for a long time. I do not recommend this cruise to anyone.
