Sail Date: Jun 2018
Cabin: Ocean View Balcony

Having been on Independence before, I like other passengers was looking forward to sailing again on it, but due to the changes like adding 105 extras extra cabins it increases the passenger ratio, so it was impossible to find any sunbeds after 10am, it was the same when you were walking along the promenade it was also impossible to find anywhere to sit.

Being a Diamond member if you did not arrive by 5pm there was no available seating. We like many other passengers will not be going on this ship again. When we booked this cruise we always pay cratuties which gives us my time dineing, this was not available the only option was 6.30 or 8.30, the reason for this is my wife has a Lastose problem and has to preorder her meals, it got to the point we’re we eventually stopped going to the restaurant and went to the Windjammer were the food was far superior than the restaurant

Ocean View Balcony

Some nights in the restaurant although my wife meal was preordered we would arrive at 8.30 and still had to wait approx 45 minutes for her meal which meant we were having our meal approx 9.15 this was not good enough when it came to a sweet there was no alturnative sweet only strawberry’s,
