This was a first Princess cruise. It was typical Western Caribbean and nothing unusual about the ports. The best thing about this cruise were the staff. There was not a staff member who couldn't or wouldn't answer a question. They were always there for you and always wearing a smile. This included waiters, engineers, cabin attendants, everyone. The cabin was pleasant enough but not sure worth the price of it. Embarkation and debarkation were truly a joy. They even emailed a notice that due to a convention in the area, there may be traffic and to come a little earlier!! Once again, surrounded with assistance no matter what you asked. Entertainment left a little to be desired. No really great shows. Overall experience was about an 8. The public areas were always clean and constantly had someone working or cleaning something. The food, well, that was a little disappointing. I mean who serves meatloaf on the last night? The casino had great dealers during the entire time. All in all, it was my time to get away from the phones and computer and that was done, so I guess I'm good.
