I chose this specific cruise for the itinerary, and chose this line because I've cruised on Celebrity before and it was wonderful. There are similar cruises for much less, but I decided to go with Celebrity due to our previous experience. I do not drink alcohol and was forced to buy a "water" package, as the water in our room, and at the buffet was brown. The service was about the worst I've ever received anywhere and I'm including any travel any where in the world on land or sea. I had to get my bottled water at the bars-my average wait time was 15 minutes and this was even if there was only one person sitting at the bar. This was consistent, every time. This lack of service was the same for our traveling companions, one of which only drinks beer, not a mixed drink. How difficult is it to hand you a bottle of beer or water. And heaven forbid I ask for 2 bottles of water at the same time!!! The bartenders will not make eye contact (they appear to be trained to do this, since it is at every bar, unless you are very young and wearing a low cut dress or bikini) and the only way to get their attention is either by banging your hand on the bar or yelling, either of which is not my style. I'm a vegan, again chose this cruise because I was assured they could accommodate my diet. They did not. The Spa Cafe staff was incredibly rude, with the exception of my last day. Another complaint I have is that I paid for my water, I don't drink soda, and they charged me for a stinking smoothie. Over $6000 for the cruise, another $200 for WATER, and I had to pay for a smoothie.

We had a massage at the spa which triggered my husband's sciatica which was fine and had been for the last 2 years. Next day he was taken by wheelchair to Medical for treatment (which was the only decent department on the cruise) as he could not stand. Spa denied any responsibility, they reimbursed his massage, but not his medical expenses. Again, poor customer service, why not go the extra mile instead of arguing with us?

The internet service, for which I paid, was abysmal.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

This cabin is EXTREMELY noisy. Do not book it, the restaurant is directly above and the noise is awful, the scraping of chairs constantly was enough to ruin my rest. The carpet is worn, the drapes are torn, it is missing a cover to a light fixture directly over the bed.
